this fabric is a dream to work with but if you want it to be that gorgeous deep rose then you need to work with it upside down. In other words, when you stroke downwards with your hand it should feel rough. When the fabric is laying on the table it is hard to tell the difference, but hold it up right and you will see that when the nap runs downward and it has that soft yummy feel to it, then it is actually much lighter and shimmery. Turn it upside down to get that deep rose color that you fell in love with
