dressy yet adaptable
I greatly admire the embroidery on this lovely silk! You know how machine embroidery sometimes looks messy on the back? This fabric is NOT one of those situations! It looks neat and beautiful on both sides. I cut the yardage down the middle lengthwise and am narrowly hemming all the edges so that I will, in the end, have two long shawl-scarves to give as gifts. A scarf-shawl out of this fabric will go as well with a little black dress as with jeans and tee.
