Mint Green Midweight Sweatshirt Fleece

Great weight & color...can't wait to sew!!!

This classic sweatshirt fabric is good for the price paid. I think it's good enough for children's sweatpants...and a sweatshirt for me to wear around the house. The color is very nice...what takes it down a notch is that the face side stays rather stiff and just a little bit scratchy...even after washing a few times (as directed), and even after using softener. The fleece side is very nice...soft and fluffy. NOTES--After washing/drying as suggested, this fabric has about 15% to 20% stretch on cross-grain, almost none on the straight (as you would expect with most classic cotton/poly sweatshirting). When calculating how much to buy, expect it to shrink 3" per yard in length, and 2" in width (again, it's what to expect from classic cotton/poly sweatshirt knits).
