    This is what we used to call Swiss dot, and the clipped dot is on a fine white cotton lawn. Lovely.

    I like the fabric but was a bit confused with the original picture as I thought it was white dots on a light gray fabric. That was what I thought I was ordering. I did use the white on white for a summer top.
